We can't wait to celebrate all of our graduates this week at our graduation ceremonies on July 12-14, 2024, at the Chartway Arena in Norfolk, Virginia. The last day of school is Thursday, June 13, 2024! Share your excitement by downloading a "Last Day of School" grade-level signs here and share your photos using #LastDayCPSVA on social media.

Also, please remember that June 12, 2024, and June 13, 2024, are early release days. Students will be released two hours early on both days. View our full calendar here.

NEW Meal Payment Platform

Starting June 17, 2024, meal payments will be made on schoolcafe.com. The last day to make payments on mypaymentsplus.com is today, June 11, 2024. All money on your student(s) accounts from MyPaymentsPlus will be rolled over to one new account on SchoolCafé. Click here for more information, including how to set up your SchoolCafé account. We also encourage you to complete the School Nutrition Services Survey regarding breakfast and lunch options by June 13, 2024.

Summer EBT Benefits

SUN Bucks is a new grocery benefit available for families with eligible school-aged children who can receive $120 per child to buy groceries during the summer. We encourage families to visit our website to determine eligibility. Beginning June 17, 2024, families can submit a free and reduced meal application on schoolcafe.com.

Official Transcript Requests

Class of 2024 graduates, it’s time to order your final transcripts!

Class of 2024 graduates are considered alumni as of August 1, 2024. A fee for transcript requests will be applied for any orders placed after July 31, 2024. We recommend that all graduates order an electronic copy of their final transcript to keep for their records before August 1, 2024. All final transcript requests must be placed through the Parchment website.

We Are Moving!

This summer, the School Administration Building, Instructional Services Center, Center for Teaching and Learning, and Edwards-Wilson Center will move to 1421 Kristina Way, Chesapeake, VA, 23320. All administrative offices will remain open at 312 Cedar Road until the week of June 24, 2024. After that time, please call 757-547-0153 to confirm the work location before visiting. The transition is expected to take place in phases over several weeks.
