Dear Great Bridge Primary Families,
It’s hard to believe summer is ending and the new school year is just around the corner! We are so excited to see our wildcat cubs on the first day of school, which is Tuesday, September 2, 2025. We've had a busy summer getting everything ready for their arrival!
Our school day runs from 7:35 a.m. to 2:04 p.m., with our doors opening at 7:15 a.m. for students. Arriving on time is important so your child can get the most out of every day.
We would love for you to join us for our in-person Meet the Teacher event on Thursday, August 28. This is a great chance for students to meet their teacher, see their classroom, and drop off school supplies. To make sure everyone has a chance to connect, we've organized the times by your student's last name:
8:00 - 8:45 a.m.: A-G
9:00 - 9:45 a.m.: H-O
10:00 - 10:45 a.m.: P-Z
As we prepare for the first day, please discuss your child's transportation plan for the end of the day with them. A smooth start is all about establishing routines, and you can help by making sure bus riders start on day one and all students have their supplies ready. If you have NOT already filled out the transportation survey please click on the link below and complete the survey. This information helps us prepare for the start of school.

We'll be sharing important updates via email and our school's Public Announcement System (PAS) phone calls. Our main ways of communicating will be through email, phone calls, and conferences. If you need to visit the school, please call ahead to schedule an appointment and bring your valid government-issued ID, as it is required for all visitors.
We truly believe that parents and guardians are vital partners in their child's education. We invite you to be part of our school community by joining our wonderful PTA, or volunteering when you're able. See the links below to join the Great Bridge Primary PTA for the 25'-26' school year and to join their Facebook page. Joining the PTA ensures you get the most up-to-date information about PTA meetings, events, and fundraisers and the dues help fund the great events and GiveBacks they do throughout the year. The PTA uses their Facebook page as a place to share information, and it can be a very helpful tool for staying updated throughout the year.
We are so excited to "Launch” our learning and are looking forward to a successful year with you and your family. Keep an eye on our webpage for all the fun events we have planned for the year!
Thank you for your partnership!
Sincerely,
Joseph Mason
Principal
